Join the Central Florida alumni chapter and Odyssey Cruises for afternoon with dolphins, manatees, and yes…TIGERS. This will be the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your alma mater and meet alumni in your area while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Hosts Jamie Aymerich ’93 and Barbara Letvin ’91 will share news from RIT and volunteer opportunities within the chapter.
Odyssey Cruises will take our group on a leisurely 2 hour cruise down the Anclote River into the Gulf of Mexico. Our captain will narrate the entire trip where you will learn about the history of Tarpon Springs and the famous Sponge Docks. Activities include looking for dolphin, manatee, sea turtle, fish, tropical foliage, and other local wildlife. You will also see the restored and operational Historic Anclote Lighthouse located on the Anclote Island. We will dock at Anclote Island where you can get an up
close view of the lighthouse, stroll the beach, look for shells, or even take a dip!
Our group is welcome to bring food on board but please no drinks or coolers. Drinks are available for purchase on the boat. Attendees also have the option to purchase food from Hellas Bakery & Restaurant. Your food order will be made available on the boat. Menu items are listed below. Ordering from the bakery is optional.
Cost for the cruise is $18 for adults, $17 for those 60 and over, $10 for children ages 2 - 12, and free for children under 2.

- Hellas Gyro ($8.00) A unique blend of beef & lamb, finely seasoned, broiled and served wrapped in a pita with sliced onions, tomatoes and a delicious tzatziki sauce.
- Hellas Veggie Pita ($8.00) Feta cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce served wrapped in a pita.
- Chicken Souvlaki ($8.00) Chunks of marinated chicken breasts, broiled, served wrapped in a pita with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, and onions.
